MEET THE PLATFORM

A closer look at OmniHand 2025 Tactile.

AGIBOT OmniHand 2025 Tactile — Gripping matched to the object.

Gripping matched to the object.

End-effector selection starts with the object’s size, material, weight and required movement. Include the hand or gripper’s own weight when calculating the total arm load.

Coordinated sensing and force control.

Force control helps adapt the grip to the application. Hand control modes are selected for the object and task; tactile feedback is available only on the variant equipped with the relevant sensors.

AGIBOT OmniHand 2025 Tactile – Use contact information during a grasp · OmniHand 2025 Tactile

Connection is only the first step.

Successful gripping requires calibration and control settings as well as mechanical integration. Prototyping with the actual objects verifies grip stability and the available range of motion.

Inside the robot hand.

Fingers and joints

  1. Four finger chains

Separate chains form the index, middle, ring and little fingers.

  2. Finger flexion joints

Proximal and distal interphalangeal joints (PIP, DIP) allow the fingers to curl.

  3. Finger spreading

Joints near the finger bases support sideways opening and closing.

  4. Articulated thumb

The thumb combines flexion, abduction and rotation.

  5. Thumb base joint

A palm-mounted pivot enables opposing grasp positions.
